In hiking, preparation is key. In retirement planning, preparation is also key.
We will help you create a plan and be prepared in reaching your goals.
Hi there, I’m Dave. The first thing you might notice when you talk to me is that I “ain’t from around here!” I’m originally from Oceanside, New York but I’ve been in Atlanta since 1982, living in the Sandy Springs area for the last 23 years, and I love it.
My wife, Kim, and I have been married for 32 years, and our daughter Michelle is a UGA graduate who is now getting her master’s degree in public health at Johns Hopkins University.
I have been helping people manage and protect their money for more than 30 years. I started out with EF Hutton and through the years have served as a senior VP at Lehman Brothers and a branch manager at Raymond James Financial Services.
What makes me different? Well, maybe it’s the New Yorker in me, where I’ve always given my clients straight answers. I don’t do the “good old boy” routine, but I am friendly, approachable, practical and a good listener. If I pick up on a potential problem that could affect your retirement, I’m going to let you know so we can fix it. It may not always be what you want to hear, but my goal is to help you solve the problem. My business is about creating real relationships and always looking out for my clients’ best interests.
I’ve worked in many areas of financial planning, but my passion is helping people grow, protect, and most importantly, preserve their life savings. I educate my clients on how to create secure and sustainable retirement income distribution that they cannot outlive. I’ve been able to use my experience and expertise over the years to help people fill their retirement income gap, protect their nest egg from market losses, optimize their Social Security benefits, leave a legacy for a loved one, and gain financial confidence in managing their money.
When I’m not at the office, you may find me hiking with the Atlanta Outdoor Club where I am a trip leader. I’m also a “foodie,” and the head organizer of the Buford Highway Foodie Meetup group. I’m an enthusiastic sports lover, from attending football games at UGA and all the Atlanta pro teams to being a co-organizer of the NY Sports Fan Club, where I get together with other transplanted diehard New York sports fans.
As an advisor, I want to help you achieve your retirement goals and ensure that your retirement income will last a lifetime. Give me a call if you have questions and let’s talk about your retirement, your income and your plans for the future.
So as you look at the adventures that lie ahead — whether that’s supporting children or grandchildren through college, giving to charity, traveling to places around the world, or ensuring you have an abundant retirement with enough to pass on to your heirs — make sure to be prepared, plan for the unexpected, listen to the warnings of others who have lost their way, and get on the best path to a brighter future.
